ISO 9001 Certification success
In September 2015 the Benson Consultancy (HK) Limited sucessfully completed Stage 2 of auditing from CASTRO and was awarded their ISO 9001 certification. A large factor contributing to this success were the audits undertaken in previous months by Nigel Wightman of Aquaterra.
Tung Chung Rugby Club Sponsorship
The Benson Consultancy (HK) Limited are proud sponsors of Tung Chung Rugby Club which is now the 10th largest mini rugby club in Hong Kong. Jim Benson's love of rugby helped to found and develop this rugby club from scratch in 2012 to initially serve girls and boys aged 4 to 12. Jim never forgets that "rugby is a big global family that is always there for everyone".
Hydropower partnership - Aug 2014
The Benson Consultancy (HK) Ltd and Aquaterra Ltd agree to a strategic alliance in their pursuit of Hydropower work in Asia and have been successful in being awarded the Owner's Engineer role for Geotechnical and Tunnelling work. This work includes preparing the contractually sensitive Geotechnical Baseline Report for a 3km tunnel passing through complex geoplogy including karst limestone. Publications
World Tunnel Congress - May 2014
The WTC was held at Iguassu Falls, Brazil betwenn 9th to 15th May 2014. The Benson Consultancy paper 'Cost Comparisons for Metro Tunnelling Projects in 4No. Major World Cities.' was published in the proceedings.
